Nobel Prize winner Thaler helps run a fund that’s nearly doubled the S&P since the bull market began

  • Richard Thaler, winner of the 2017 Nobel Prize in economics for his work in behavioral economics, is also principal at Fuller & Thaler Asset Management, which runs funds that have outperformed the broader market.
  • The company sub-advises the Undiscovered Managers Behavioral Value Fund, whose Class A shares have almost doubled the S&P 500's gains since the beginning of the bull market in 2009.
  • The Fuller & Thaler Behavioral Small-Cap Equity Fund (FTHSX), has outperformed the S&P 500 this year with a gain of 14.7 percent.
