Hollywood director upsets CES press conference over teleprompter

When technology news conferences go bad, they go really bad.

Case in point: Samsung held an event at the Consumer Electronics Show on Monday to showcase its newest wares for 2014.

To help promote the latest and greatest in televisions, the Korean conglomerate trotted out Michael Bay, the Hollywood director behind "Transformers" and other action blockbusters.

But when Bay's teleprompter didn't work properly, things blew up—quickly.
