Check out which companies are making headlines after the bell Tuesday:
CEC Entertainment – The operator of the Chuck E. Cheese's franchise rallied in after-hours trading after Reuters reported the company was exploring a sale.
Apollo Education Group – The for-profit educator tallied first-quarter earnings per share of $1.04,excluding items, on revenue of $856 million, versus estimates of 90 cents a share on earnings of $861 million. Its shares rose in after-hours trading.
Micron Technology – The maker of semiconductor devices posted first-quarter revenue of $4.04 billion, beating estimates of $3.72 billion. Its shares rallied in after-hours trading.
The Container Store Group – The retailer posted third-quarter earnings per share of 11 cents, excluding items, on earnings of $1.88 billion, compared to estimates of earnings per share of eights cents on sales of $189 million. The company projected full-year 2013 guidance of $754 million versus an estimate of $756 million. Its shares fell sharply in after-hours trading.
