Exhibiting their American verve, they hope the agenda will include discussions on the turnaround in the U.S. and European economies, ways to reduce youth unemployment and the outlook for business in 2014. Look out, pundits, Kernen—who admits he's "an ugly American"—is talking up the U.S. again. Even Quick admits: "It's still the best neighborhood on the block."
