Russell Wilson isn't the only person in Seattle who fumbles around. The Seahawks quarterback is near the top of the 2013 fumblers list at 11, though the Broncos' Peyton Manning isn't far behind at 10.
I guess it comes with the territory.
According to SquareTrade, a company that sells extended warranties for mobile devices, Seahawks fans in general are "clumsy." A lot clumsier than Broncos fans. One in 4 people in Seattle have had a cellphone accident over the last year, compared with only 16 percent in Denver.

So why is that? Clearly folks in Seattle wouldn't be made clumsy by the fact that they're functioning at sea level, as opposed to walking around a mile high. They can't even blame their clumsiness on the legalization of marijuana, because in this case, they're on an even playing field with Denver.

Maybe Seattle is clumsier than Denver because everyone is always holding a Starbucks cup in one hand and a phone in the other while listening to Nirvana's "Smells like Teen Spirit."

While cellphones may be at greater risk of ending up on the disabled list in Seattle, SquareTrade said phones everywhere are especially prone to injury during sporting events.
It says a survey through Google found that 1 in 3 Americans has dropped a phone during a game. That includes the entire New York Giants offense.

SquareTrade was kind enough to break out the most common ways phones are damaged during sporting events:
—Dropped in the toilet: 18 percent.
—Dropped in beer: 13 percent.
—Hurled in anger or excitement: 12 percent … plus Richard Sherman.
